Maduma Boma is situated between the Kruger National Park (Orpen Gate 55 ks) and the Blyde Canyon (40 ks). Great for day trips to all the major tourist attractions. The nearest airport and shops are in Hoedspruit (30 ks). It has eleven chalets spread out over the entire reserve. BushGlam Luxury Holiday Home comprises three modern bedrooms, two state of the art bathrooms, spacious lounges, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Woodlands Bush Lodge

This lovely 8 sleeper self-catering bush lodge is situated in the heart of the secure Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, apart from any neighbours and facing onto open bushlands, ensuring the ultimate in a private bush living experience. A watering hole outside of the low level game fence (to keep out the warthogs who believe the garden is the ideal al fresco dining venue), sees Zebra, Nyala, Giraffe, Kudu and Impala amble past quite nonchalantly as you soak up the atmosphere. Within the lodge environs, you can swing under the trees in a hammock for two, cool off in the pool, enjoy the magnificent view from the patio, or relax in the lounge with a good book. Both wood and gas braais, as well as a fully fitted and equipped kitchen and a full DSTV bouquet complete the package of this lovely escape from the busy outside world. Woodlands Lodge has four fully equipped bedrooms with air-conditioning (two with queen beds and two with singles) and four bathrooms which is separate from the main living area. On the estate there are many and varied game drive and cycle routes, dams and watering holes with hides from which to view the free roaming animal population of impala, kudu, zebra, giraffe, warthog, eland, wildebeest, waterbuck [to name a few] and over 170 bird species providing ample opportunity for good photos. Your hosts are resident on the Estate and are available to advise on local conditions, best restaurants, local events and features, to help maximise your enjoyment. Hoedspruit is part of Greater Kruger Area with the Kruger National Parks Orpen gate only 40 min drive away, with local attractions such as endangered species rehabilitation centres, elephant back safaris, hot air ballooning, Jessica the hippo, the silk farm and much more! The Panorama Route features sites such as the Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window, World's View, The Pinnacle, Lisbon – and Berlin Falls and Graskop Gorge - all within a 1.5 hr day-trip from the Estate. Activities on offer in the areas include: fishing & boating on Klaserie Dam, Blydepoort dam game viewing excursions, white river rafting on the Blyde River or in the Olifants gorge, and the option of two golf courses (Hoedspruit Drakensig Club [9-hole], Hans Merensky [18-hole]. Flying safaris are also available locally. Hot and dry weather is the norm during the day, with temperatures regularly reaching and exceeding 35 degrees, while the evenings can be chilly. Twiga Tower Lodge is situated in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Twiga Tower's Double Rooms are situated in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Guests can enjoy the peaceful bush surroundings as well as personalised Kruger National Park safaris and tours. Tshukudu Bush Camp

Situated in the Central Lowveld near the Blyderiver Canyon and the Kruger National Park, close to Hoedspruit. Tshukudu, a Big 5 Game Reserve, boasts 5000ha of unspoiled bush with a lovely view to the Drakensberg Mountains. At a very affordable rate, visitors can go on game drives and walks with a knowledgeable ranger sharing the wonders of the bush. Tshukudu is teeming with game, the birdlife is prolific and the bush has many Acacia and Marula trees that give a real feel of the African Bushveld. The following animals can be spotted: Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Elephant, White Rhino, Buffalo, Eland, Waterbuck, Kudu, Bushbuck, Wildebeest, Zebra, Giraffe, Warthog, Impala, Steenbuck, Duiker, Porcupine, Jackal, Hyena, Caracal, Serval, Civet, Genet, African Wild Cat, Hippo, Crocodile and many other species... Not only do guests see all the big and small animals in their natural environment but they can interact with our orphaned animals and go for walks with some of them. Over the years we have cared for, raised and reintroduced into the bush a variety of animals. The Bush Camp is also ideal for school and youth groups to experience nature first hand. The purpose of the camps is to teach the youth about conservation awareness, game farm management, identification of birds, trees, grasses and spoors, snakes and snake bite treatment as well as edible plants and berries. We make the experience exciting including game drives, walks and lectures as well as sports activities such as volley ball, swimming and bush rounders. For big groups there are two big dormitory-style platforms with ablutions downstairs. The camp contains a central indoor and outdoor eating area under thatched roofs as well as a cosy boma for your evening braai. There is a big, fully equipped kitchen where you have your own fridge and cupboard. We have two stoves, one six ring one four ring with ovens as well as a microwave for the guest's use. Our staff wash the dishes, assist you with the preparation of food, make fires, help with the braai and generally make you stay comfortable. Sheets, towels and a limited amount of fire wood are provided. All you have to bring along is your food and drinks. Relax around the pool or watch the animals drink at the water hole from the viewing platform. There is a wonderful playground to keep the children busy.
